Now that you’ve started running your own Google Ads, the next step is to link your ads to a proper landing page, right?

What if you don’t have a landing page and don’t know how to code?

Don’t worry, we’re here to guide you.

Landing pages are great to drive visitors toward conversions. A landing page is used to market a specific condo launch, create a sense of urgency for potential clients to buy and measure conversion metrics to determine how well your campaign is performing.

Without further ado, let’s get started!

1. Choose a Platform
2. Design Your Page or Pick a Template
3. Research, Write, & Structure Content
4. Setup & Test Your Form
5. Set Up Your Domain
6. Pay for Web Hosting

1. Choose a Platform

There are many no-code website builders you can choose from online. From Squarespace, Google Sites, Wix – take your pick. It’s good to do your research and see which one works the best for you.

2. Design Your Page or Pick a Template

Once you’ve chosen your platform, it’s time to design your page.

People are naturally drawn to good designs. 75% of consumers admit to judging a business’ credibility based on their website design.

Unless you’re a professional UI/UX designer or have a keen eye for design, we would recommend you to pick an existing template that’s available in the marketplace.

You would want to pick a template that can showcase high-impact visuals well. Real estate is all about selling a vision -  so from a potential client’s perspective, you’ll want to see as many attractive pictures of your future home before making a purchase.

How I determine a landing page design is good enough - is when you’re tempted by the template’s design to purchase the product or service itself.

It would be good if the template also includes a contact form at the end of the page or as a separate page itself.

Pro Tip: According to Webmarketers, dark themes work better for real estate websites.

3. Research, Write, & Structure Content

After selecting a template, it’s time to fill in the contents.

At this stage, you might have to conduct quite a bit of research on the project. You could take a look at your competitors’ sites to get a feel on how you should structure and upsell your condo.

Copywriting plays a pivotal role in convincing your clients to register their interest and make a purchase, so make sure it flows naturally to the reader and guides them to take action.

Here’s a sample structure that you can follow while designing your landing page:

1) Navigation. Contains your logo, anchor links that direct users to different sections of your page, call to action (CTA) buttons leading to your form or phone number.

2) Hero Section. Main headline (H1), a sub headline, descriptions and a CTA button.

3) About. A brief introduction of your condominium, talk about the location, district, site area, number of units, etc.

4) Pricing. Indicate the size and prices for the different unit mix (i.e. Studio, 1-Bedroom, 2-Bedroom)

5) Features. Highlight the unique features of the condo, the amenities, nearby parks and malls.

6) Project Details. Insert all the project details into a table, includes information like the project name, developer, address, site area, total units, tenure, TOP date.

7) Developer. Introduce the developer and their past projects.

8) Location. Mention about upcoming developments around the area, proximity to MRT, expressways, schools, malls, recreational areas.

9) Site/Floor plans. Showcase the available floor plans and site plans for the condominium.

10) Form. A simple form to collect contact details from interested parties.

11) Footer. Quick links to different sections of the site.

Pro Tip: ‘Black hat’ tactics like keyword-stuffing no longer works if you want to rank at the top of the Google search engine.

4. Setup & Test Your Form

If you’ve added a form in your landing page, make sure that the form names and fields are labeled correctly.

These labels will most likely reflect in your database or in the emails sent to your potential customers, so it’s important that they are named properly for the sake of professionalism.

Create a test submission and check your email to see that you’ve received it. Don’t be lazy and skip this part.

5. Set Up Your Domain

Choose a suitable domain name relevant to your new launch condo. Look out for website hosting sites like GoDaddy, Namecheap or other domain registrars.

A domain name is the unique name that appears after the www in a web address. Keep in mind that people tend to trust .com websites over alternatives like .net or .org.

A good example of a domain name for Lentor Modern, would be www.lentor-modern-singapore.com, for example.

Although it is not a major ranking factor, domain names do have a significant impact on SEO, so choose wisely.

Pro tip: Look out for the renewal cost of the domain before your purchase as domain registrars tend to have special offers for first-time registrations, but charge at exorbitant rates subsequently.

6. Pay for Web Hosting

Most of the website builders offer free hosting for your websites if you were to use their domain name. Try to use your own custom domain (recommended) as much as possible.

Ideally, you should opt to pay for the monthly plans instead of the annual ones if you’re running your campaign for a short period of time.

We would recommend running each new launch condo campaign for up to 3 months.

If you’re running your own custom build site that you’ve coded from scratch, you may consider hosting it on platforms like Amazon Web Service (AWS), Microsoft Azure or Google Cloud. These platforms usually offer you free credits that you can use for hosting if you’re a new customer.

And that’s it!

Have fun creating your own high-converting landing page! It’s a challenging but rewarding journey – and once you’ve learnt how to do it, it becomes an invaluable skill.
