Social media platforms can be a powerful lead generation strategy for real estate businesses. 

Currently, Singapore has one of the highest social media penetration rates in the world, with 89.5% of the population on varying social media platforms.

From Facebook, to Instagram, Tiktok, and LinkedIn, realtors nowadays are spoilt for choice on the different social media platforms they can utilize to connect with potential buyers and sellers. 

The following are ways you can attract prospective buyers via these channels; 

1.1 Showcase the property

Showcasing your listings is the key to generating leads through social media. 

By creating visually appealing posts and videos of your properties, you can capture the attention of potential buyers and sellers. 

Start by uploading high-quality images and virtual tours to give homebuyers a detailed look at the property and its features. 

Additionally, be sure to also include relevant hashtags as well as location tags to increase your visibility and reach a wider audience.

1.2 Engage with your audience

Share industry news and insights about Singapore’s real estate market, local neighborhoods, and other related topics. This will help establish you as a thought leader in the industry and attract potential clients who are interested in your expertise. 

Responding to comments and messages in a timely manner will also help cultivate a trustworthy relationship.

1.3 Run targeted ads

Maximize the utility of your social media platforms by running advertising campaigns. 

With the use of targeting options (E.g., demographics, interests, and behaviors), real estate agents can even reach their ideal audience and generate leads from a specific target market!

A good lead generating strategy when running Google Ads is to focus on highly targeted keywords

By identifying the specific search terms that potential clients use to find properties, agents can create ads that are more likely to be seen by them.

After your ads are done, link them to compelling and informative landing pages that will encourage prospects to take action. 

This includes providing detailed information about the new launches as well as adding in appealing photos and your contact information.

It is also important to note that robust follow-up processes are required to successfully close a deal. This can be in the form of sending out targeted emails or making personal phone calls to leads. 

Remember, the key here is to build trust and establish a stronger relationship with buyers. This will then help increase your chances of converting them.

5. Hire influencers

In today's digital age, social media influencers have become powerful marketing tools for a variety of industries - and real estate is no exception.

Influencers have the ability to reach a large and engaged audience on social media platforms. 

They often have a strong following and high levels of engagement on channels like Instagram, Facebook, and TikTok -  which can make it easier for realtors to reach potential clients.

By working with influencers, agents can tap into this credibility and establish themselves as trusted experts in the industry.
